Kamp for Kids
February 17-20, 2012
Youth education and family wellness are areas of primary emphasis of Diabetes, Incorporated. We are very pleased to be able to offer this special camp for children and teens, ages 0-18 and their parents. Kamp for Kids offers young people with diabetes and their families the opportunity to meet others who are dealing with the samme problems and issues and provides them a wider support network. Although, diabetes education is extremely improtant, so is having fun, and WE DO HAVE FUN!
Medtronic Diabetes will sponsoring our speaker, Jennifer Smith, RD, LD as detailed in our recent newsletter, Diabetes Beat.
This year's camp theme,"Out of This World", is on behalf of the generous support towards our camp by the Rapid City Cosmopolitan Club.
